It looks to me that even with an updated receiver I will still have the same conundrum if I want to view HD OTA on TV2. (no way to input the antenna) Sent from my SM-G920V using the SatelliteGuys app!

I think this is on the right path. I have tried using the reverse splitter. I must scan for channels on the tuner and it does not find both the antenna and the cable. Not sure how to do this on the remote or TV. Perhaps it has to do with the settings or the frequency you refer to.

I had thought about this option. First, it would be a lot of work. But, second I would just be switching the problem. TV2 would become TV1 and TV1 would become TV2 and I would still be presented with the same conundrum on TV2 of two coax, but one input.

The new TV is in a room quite a distance from the receiver. So, not feasible to run RCA cables. Now I did just run the antenna coax into the receiver and can watch the OTA stations on TV1. Maybe the question is on how I can watch the OTA channels on TV2 that is getting the feed over the coax...

The receiver does have an antenna input. It is unused as I run the antenna right into the TV at that location.

As so many I just bought a new TV. There is one small thing I can not think of a solution for. It is the second TV, so the input for Dish is the long coax snaked through the walls. I would also like to use an antenna. Both of them are obviously coax inputs and naturally the TV has only one coax...

There is also the issue of when 3rd parties are involved as credit card companies (i.e.-disputes). Hard copies, paper trail, is always preferential.

Not always easy to share prior hard copy documentation, shipping receipts, etc. with people online.
