    Thanks for all the input, my wife thinks I'm going to screw this up and cost us more in the end. It seems if I cancel my account, Direct would not refuse her an account at the same address, makes no sense from a $ standpoint, they would have a guaranteed account for 3 years.     I've thought about this, I don't know typically how they handle it. I'm sure my wife is willing to say I don't live there anymore, she kicked me out, etc.
