    I use my Pioneer receiver for surround sound, also do you have the digital cable from the Direct receiver plugged into the Pioneer receiver. Just go into the Direct TV menu bring up the audio menu and turn Dolby digital on

    The RC. 73 remote will only turn the power on and off on the TV and Genie receiver. I have a Pioneer audio receiver and the RC 73 does control the volume.

    Lots of people are having problems downloading the Direct TV app on their android phones, I can D/L the app, but just does not want to open the program guide, but the app for the iPhone works just fine

    It will either say audio device or receiver, a list of all receivers will come up, find your and press it, it will program it automatically.

    Press menu, then go into settings and help on the screen, then on the left screen press remote control, then you will see the screen that says Program Remote, then press Audio devices, find your Audio receiver in the menu that will program the audio in your receiver and remote.

    Well they have changed the commercials up, on Wednesday they had 1 hr of the Hopper2 talking about the new interface, the next hour it was all about Hopper 3 and how it works and explaining the 16 tuners, but the remote is still the same remote they use on Hopper 2. I don't know why they...

    Talking about bridges, I used to cross the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge every night and then just after I moved back to Texas the bridge collapsed during the big earthquake in San Francisco.

    Are FoxNews and Dish Even Talking?

    I think Dish has the upper hand, because Charlie doesn't have to pay them if Fox News is not on the air, plus Fox is losing a potential 14 Million viewers which is not seeing their advertisement. I also think Charlie will eventually lose a couple hundred thousands viewers.
