Well problem still exists where streaming 16:9 videos the HR24 squezes it to 4:3 shape. Happens with media share or PlayOn.

Is there a difference in black levels between using an Hdmi and component cables with the Hr24's? I thought I read somewhere that over Hdmi it might not but can't find the thread now.

There are some hotkeys but I don't know them. The play back bar can be clicked to jump to a spot. Controls have a jump forward and back button. Someone else will have to answer the last part as I don't know..

I think you need a Dr if you were able to use the holes in the HR24 LOL. They can do wonders with grafting and such these days.
