I agree it is not hard to fix. I was just wondering if there was something I was missing in the setup somewhere that would change the default and not have it get reset.

I got two HR24s installed last Friday, 2/11.

I just got a new D* system with two HR24s installed last week. I like to have the playlist sorted alphabetically (A-Z), but neither box is keeping that sort. It works for awhile, but then a day or so later the default sort by date is restored. Is anyone else seeing this problem?

I just did this recently. I had an old 522 that is being replaced with a 722 for no cost with a new 24 month agreement. They are shipping the new one for me to hook up myself.

Here's the problem with that. Who decides what the reasonable time is? What if I like my lawn a little longer than the average person?

So if I'm in the Des Moines area, am I going to have to schedule an install of a new dish? I think I currently have a 1000.2, a 722, and a 522(?).

Can someone explain to me why networks charge cable and satellite providers to rebroadcast their channels in the first place? This is a serious question, as I don't understand it. What extra costs could the local networks actually incur just to provide their signal to the carrier? It seems to...
