I'm planning to put a new in motion dish in a new RV, and it would be nice if we could offload our home content to the ehd and take it on the road. If we use a 922 or 612, I risk that device trashing out pretty quickly because of the hard drive inside of a moving vehicle. I know the 211 supports...

I have the same issue but have just lived with it to date.

Even if it's on, I still have to retry my dvr connection several times before it will connect. So I'm not so sure it's related to the unit being in standby, but one thing you can try is going to the "remote" and hitting the select button a few times, that seems to help establish the connection.

I might be interested, pm me or post the details? I have a ray sat unit, but they "went out of business" and sold the company to a business down the street, but aren't providing firmware support.

Worked for me, just had to get the password off of the receiver. Now, I just wish they would fix the aspect ratio problems in the dish app...

F.y.i. There its an update to the android dish client available now (version 1.1) that says it has higher resolution and 'numerous bug fixes'. Just downloaded and haven't tested it yet, but I still feel that most of these problems are in the 922 firmware more than anything.

I don't have any bandwidth issues (knock on wood) but it does pretty much kill any recording that's going on if I attach via sling, not to mention it replaces the video out put on video one with the video from the second receiver, but leaves the audio from the first receiver. Worse than useless...

Theoretically, sling performance could have improved with the same sling firmware, if the new base S109 improved the general network performance. Might also have something to do with why some of us are seeing the 922s drop on and off the network too.

Yeah, I thought about that after I made the post. BTW - I just spoke with someone who confirmed that there is no support for raysat equipment and they are officially gone.

speaking from experience, avoid raysat. absolutely no customer support. It just doesn't exist. I hope I caught you in time. I just found your post because I came on here searching to see if anyone else is experiencing the (new) problems I'm having with mine, and did a search for raysat.
