    I'll try pausing again this year. Last year it cost a little more than $5/month. They did slap me with a $5 additional charge when I reactivated as I lost my loyalty discount to the DVR for pausing.

    In 2022 we paused our Dish service for 5 months, which allowed us to keep the equipment and use the DVR for local channels.     OTA tunner on Dish vip211K

    All, I was fighting this issue with OTA getting all 27 OTA channels on main receiver and only 2 channels on the 211k. After reading on here I made sure the set the 211k in to setup, HDTV, over air, TV Type 480. I then scanned and presto all 27 local channels. Thanks for the suggestions above...
