    C Band Interference!

Don't be fooled. If I have come off as an expert, I apologize. It's totally accidental. Pixl is absolutely right. You need to knock out that interference as early in your system as possible. If you can get a filter that installs between the LNB and the feed and for cheap do it.

    C Band Interference!

If money is no object (yeah, some people have that issue) Microwave Filter Company has filters that will fix your problem. They design filters that install between your feed and your LNB. Like at restaurants, when they don't list the price, you know it's not cheap. I read they're expensive...

Options for simultaneous C-band linear and C-band circular on a single 10 foot dish

The only options I know of are what you already know. Either have two dishes or marry two LNBs near the focal point as Pendragon has done in that thread you've referenced. I don't know of an off the shelf feed that will do what you want.

    C Band Interference!

Seems a little expensive for the job but somebody bought one an hour before I posted this message. You can buy a hacksaw for half of the cost and take a 1/4" off of the scalar ring's throat in 10 minutes. Are the feeds of a Chaparral corotor and ortho the same diameter that the ring would...

Problem with CBS on Galaxy 3C (95)

Welcome to 1993 on your 486 with high end VGA graphics! Audio and video are no where near in sync either, with video lagging by about a minute. It's not your system, it's at the uplink.

    C Band Interference!

You may also want to consider modifying your scalar to allow your feed to protrude farther through the scalar. I'll be doing this in a few days when I swap my Chaparral feed to a .29 f/d 3.2 meter dish. This was done to set up an ADL feed on the very model of dish you have. The thread isn't...

    FTA One Stop Shop

Whatever you ship, ship it by USPS if you can help it. 1 in 5 parcels I receive hasn't been slapped with fees once Canada Post gets it. Fedex fees are reasonable. UPS brokerage fees are simply outrageous. I've had them as high as $80 on a $200US item.

What can I be doing wrong?

It's not important that the top of the mount/pole is level. There is no guarantee that the top of the pole was cut at a 90 degree angle to the walls of the pole. What is important is that the sides are plumb, straight up and down. Check this in three places, approximately 120 degrees apart...

    Hurricanes

I shudder at the thought of having to take mine down. 260lbs and 11' to the mount from the ground. Nasty. If you're hurricane prone it's bound to happen sometime. Sucks though there's nothing anybody can do but move.

That's all I used, 1/4 watt. Works fine.

How to get Mpeg4 and is it worth it.

I paid that for my Az Elite when it first came out. I believe that included shipping. How long ago was that? Four or five years ago?

Offset Ku LNBF on prime focus BUD

I've been thinking about how to do this for a few days. The scalar on my dish is held in place by a large clamp which is suspended from four struts. And the struts are installed on the vertical and horizontal planes. I knew this was inconvenient as soon as I installed the ortho but what's done...

    Help the Polorator has died

I've found that carburetor cleaner works best for getting screws and nuts loose, even from aluminum. If he heads of the screws are raised you may still have to use small vise-grips to start the moving.

    45.5 to 61 C band

I don't know how well a 6' dish would work for you because I've never used a dish that small. Look at Http://Lyngsat.com/atlantic.html to see what's available far east and see what you can actually pull in. If the satellite is circular you won't get anything unless it's a very strong signal...
