Would it be easy to mount onto the pole? Like my KU-band dish. It simply slid onto the pole, then tightened with some bolts.

I'm a minor, so all this is impossible. Quite a lot of steps for a satellite dish that isn't that big. I do have an opportunity to get a BUD from a friend (about 7 feet) and I'll just have to see when I get it.

The HoJo (Howard Johnson hotel) has an old 8-foot dish. I should ask if they want to sell it, because obviously it's not used anymore (they have a DirecTV micro headend now). I may just try a C-band LNB on the 90cm dish. It can't hurt, the LNB and scalar from my main satellite shop is about $30...

If I got a C-band LNB and conical scalar for my 90cm GEOSATpro dish, do you think it would work? EDIT: Or how about if I bought and placed one of those C-band/Ku-band combo LNBs on it? That would be AWESOME!

Sorry for the extremely late reply. I wonder why it doesn't support analog. Do you think it can do analog C-band once I get a conical scalar and C-band LNB for my Geosatpro?

Is there such thing as analog Ku band? And if so, would an X2 Premium (also under many many other names :p ) be able to receive it? C-band gets the most analog I've noticed. I have never seen an analog Ku band signal (except for early Primestar setups, they were Ku band, and analog) but I've...
