    You could also use a inclinometer with a small pipe/tube to check line of sight or tape the inclinometer to a ruler or flat piece of wood and sight down the top edge. Take care :)

    Greetings to all. Anyone know how to update or scan for new channels on a CS5000 without duplicate channels showing up? Can the box do it on its own? manual scan or blind scan or pid scan etc ??? I end up with duplicate channels and then have to remove them manually no matter what...

    alrighty success at last Ok here we go, I'm 10 degrees plus (+) from plumb and pegging the quality meter on my coolsat aiming at 97W. 97W is at 32.1 elevation where I'm at, according to dishpointer. So I'm thinking 32.1 minus 10 degrees= 22.1 or 22 degrees offset on my dish. I...
