    Two minutes ago VOOM ESPN HD looking pretty good. Motion over the floor softens the floor and imparts a dirty/grainy look. No pixel breakup or streaks. XBR960 with component conn and DVE calibration. daveoo

    My post from yesterday on ESPN HD VOOM with streaking was viewed on XBR 960. Has nice resolution. The streaks were like taking a pencil and moving back and forth horizontally and creating a shading effect. Seen on floor with motion and some on other shots. daveoo

    Thanks for the advise. Got off my but. Couldn't find exactly what you suggested, but I re-did the settings for processing and got reliable sound for now. The unit is getting rusty and forgets some settings when powered off. daveoo

    With VOOM rcrv hooked optically into my B&K 307 I get unpredictable audio. This is not dropouts. I may have audio just fine then switch channels on VOOM and lose all audio. A few more flips of the channels brings back the audio. Having to flip, up or down, thru 2-10 channels before audio...

    Backrub over. Watched VOOM HDs. No breakup or pixels. Rave, Ultra, Lab, Worldsport and Rush. On World Sport soccer I noticed that the distant field has some softening on motion, but I have to watch specifically for the artifact. daveoo
