    If nothing else works, you can hook the Lifetime Classic NA up to a computer using a female to female NULL modem cable and flash it with the original factory firmware. That should reset everything back to defaults.

    My favorite summer activity growing up was to either go fishing or golfing with my dad. Sometimes he would take my brother and I fishing. Sometimes we would just tag along when he went golfing. I always remember getting a red cream soda out of the soda machine called "Red Lightning".

    Cheapest way to get just HD LiLs and as little else as possible.

    Can you hook up a deactivated Dish 942 DVR just to receive OTA HD channels? Would you have to have it connected to a Dish satellite (like the 811 does) for it to work? Are they going to completely make 942's completely stop working (even for just OTA HD) with a future software update?

    I have an 811 that I use for SD and OTA. I just got my purple card about a week ago and put it in. I hope it works after the switchover. I have no interest in HD from Dish as I already pay enough a month now.

    I'm not saying it's not right, just some people need to be more aware. Maybe they need to read the fine print or pay more attention when talking to someone about getting new equipment.
