For months after getting my 24" dish I had no drop outs whatsoever, however now I am. I was wondering in my case if it was due to tree growth or something, but maybe there is something else going on? I will pay more attention and see it if there is a pattern.

If you are using 61.5 now and it works well in your location I would not switch to 129, 129 has issues, it wobbles and the signal can drop on you. this is a big problem in the Pacific Northwest, your area may not be affected as strongly but I do not believe there is anything on 129 that is...

For me the big difference from MDM cable was the number of HD channels. It is a big pain not to have Fox in HD but I just stopped watching it and I have been okay! ;) I mostly watch HD and enjoy the 30 or so HD channels.

24" dish Dish upgraded me to a 24" dish and those problems stopped. I am also in PNW

I bought one from Costco and submitted the rebate, I will let you know how it all works out. I already had one 622 now I have 2 so we will see.
