Who says Dish Network doesn't care about the sports fan?

I agree. I've had good installers and I've had bad installers. Some just don't want to do anymore than they have to, i.e. making sure the settings are correct on the receiver for my particular TV.

I went over to my brother-in-law's boss's house. Picture was not quite right on his 60" plasma. Setting for HD was set to 480p on his 622. I switched it, the difference was dramatic. It had been on the wrong setting for over a year!

I have Dish. My friend has Time Warner, hence no NFL Network. He's having a Christmas party tonight and we want to watch the Cowboys/Saints game. I have an extra Dish 500 with no LNB. I took the LNB off my wing satellite and put it on the extra dish and took my 612 over to set up...

Can someone point me in the right direction? Is NFL Network HD on 61.5 and 129? How about NFL Network SD, 119?

The power supply went out on my Samsung 52" LCD 14 1/2 months after I bought it. Luckily for me it was covered under the 3 month extended warranty Samsung gave me when I registered it online. I don't if it's an isolated incident or if it's a problem with Samsung TV's, LCD or plasma.

I totally agree. I live in an area where I get Austin, San Antonio, and with a little tweaking, I could get Waco or Victoria. Every now and again each Fox or CBS affiliate will show different games. So on any given Sunday, I could watch as many as 6 different games without paying anything...

Gave up on it about 10 shows ago. I was backed up on my DVR with 10 episodes. Realized I was probably never gonna watch them so I deleted the shows and the timers.
