I thought you meant a seperate account. I didn't think Dish would allow you to just add a receiver to your account for the RV. I thought they would require you to have a seperate account and a seperate subscription fee/package.

If I just add a receiver to my account and stick it in the RV how will they know where it is? If I do that will I be able to get the same programming as in my house?

We are getting a motorhome with an in motion satellite dome. We are current Dish subscribers. I was wondering if anyone could help me with my options on how to set things up from an account perspective. I think there is a "proper" way to go about it and a "more economical" way to go about it...

My issues were almost exactly the same with a WD MyBook 500GB. Would do the same thing on my 622 and 722. Originally it worked fine on my 622. Tech support has been no help. Being told it is the hard drive, but I can't understand why it worked for a while and quit.

I am getting a 722 for my 942. I have other VIP receivers already. FYI I was told by a Dish tech that I could not keep my 942 activated, because it would not even receive SD later. I wanted to keep it for SD and OTA. Question 1, can I still access the hard drive on my 942 if it isn't...

My MyBook 500 GB drive will play a few minutes of a stored event then it will stop like the event is over. From what I can tell I have to get a new 622. Any other fixes?

Sorry if this has been covered, but with the DishOnline features can you access your EHDD remotely from your computer?

Am I just missing it, or did I imagine there was a thread listing the HDD brands people were using successfully and those that were having some issues? I am gonna add external storage, but want it to be reliable obviously. Any advice on brand? I assume to be safe I should still just use 750 gig?

It started with the lost audio just like the others.

Now my 622 gets to "3 of 5" when trying to acquire satellite signal, and keeps rebooting at that point. Anyone have a cure? Edit: It finally got through and all appears well now. I hope this isn't the start of bigger issues.

I just had the same thing. Running 622 in single mode and lost audio on 1 tuner. Rebooted and while acquiring singal the 622 rebooted itself. Then it came on and I had audio again. However not all the guide info was there. Tried to download guide info, status bar did not move, so I stopped...
