How DISH quietly starter ripping off subscribers of International (Russian) package, or your thought

Sign up for Kartina.TV I actually just did today.., you'll get LOADs of channels! They even have HD and 3D channels. Dish cant even touch that .., for ~$19/m I see they have a lots of English movies.., all with Russian translation, however I also read that you can turn off the translation and...

    Real IPTV?

Found this.. https://www.3click.tv/index.php More like Hulu.., but it's like $20/m for shows... Don't think that's worth it overall, but they do have complete seasons unlike Hulu.

    Real IPTV?

So I am in the process of cutting my Dish cord by the end of the month and looking to switch completely to cheaper alternatives. My house is already pre-setup to do video distribution. I have a 4x4 HDMI Matrix in a central room where I have HDMI (+IR) over CAT6 running to every relevant...

    Russian language TV

Thanks I'll check it out! It might work in my situation also as I have an HDMI distribution matrix running through the house and that BT remote would help a lot!:) Probably going to fire off a trial of Kartina tomorrow and try to follow some half Russian half English guides to get my W7 MCE...

    Russian language TV

Try http://www.kartina.tv You just get to buy a box unless you have one of the devices that can play it already and it should be about $15/m for 100+ channels. Our friends use it and it no complaints. I am actually planning on pulling the trigger on it shortly. Now if only I could find a US IPTV...

How DISH quietly starter ripping off subscribers of International (Russian) package, or your thought

My biggest problem is that Dish requires their Basic package if you want any International packages. So like my grandparents they were forced to get Basic + International. Now they lost their main reason they went with Dish (NTV) and they are still under contract. They don't even watch anything...

How DISH quietly starter ripping off subscribers of International (Russian) package, or your thought

So DISH had (still listed on their website) 2 Russian packages: #1 NTV America for $19.99/month and #2 Russian MegaPack (includes NTV) for $24.99/month As of October 1st NTV apparently ceased broadcasting (moving to DirectTV) and DISH duplicated one of the other channels in the package in...

    722k shutting down

Hmmm... Well, my TV setup is like this. 722k to 4x4 Matrix with TV1=Philips LCD, TV2=Olevia LCD, TV3=Panasonic plasma. I have no TV2 output on 722k. Interestingly enough I do believe that the problem started the day I got the new TV plugged in via HDMI. It ran via Component for the first few...

    722k shutting down

Hello, I need some advice on trying to figure out what is going on with my receiver. I had a 722k for at least 1yr+, never any issues. All of a sudden it started rebooting randomly etc.. until one day it never would pass the Dish start-up screen. Dish sent me a new 722k and it worked fine...

Questions about the new XiP Receivers?

I was more referencing that each provider needs to start making a BT remote for their devices. BTW, LG Magic Motion is nothing new.. Gyration had that years back (for Media Center)... got 2 of them somewhere here.

Questions about the new XiP Receivers?

IR to UHF is what I am already using. Was fine at ~25ft., but now with insulation and next drywall I have a feeling it will be shortened even more.

Questions about the new XiP Receivers?

I understand that I am in a minority on this. :), sux! "Only Dish would know" but I think their manufacturing cost savings would be sizable if they went with just 1 remote for all receivers. (Depends on the cost of putting BT modules into receivers) or heck even WiFi would help, all receivers...
