Sorry to revive an old thread. Is there any way to convert a "DVR" timer to a "Seek" timer? Is there anyway to get a seek timer by default. I have a number of shows that are recording as "Seek", which is great, since I get the new episodes on the original channel and reruns on whatever...

I had various cable and uverse boxes in a closed cabinet for years; but after switching to Dish, the 722 would overheat. So I replaced the glass panes on the cabinet doors and got this fan: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000H27GJY/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00 and didn't have any problems...
