after 10 years subscribe to dish. then their HD service it got to the point that the MPEG-2 they sold me was not going to work any more, MPEG-4 was in and tuner was not upgradeable. it had a terrestrial tuner in it, and traded it for their so-called free replacement box. what really has me PO'd about the whole thing was when I purchased the 811 I was told it would be completely software upgradeable. why could they not upgrade mpeg2 to mpeg4? software is software is it not??? got fed up after years of problems with the 811 I wanted back. they sent out a box and I shipped it (211) back. but I did try to get my old 3700 turned on and they would not activate it or said they could not?!? but they wanted to send out a new 3700 that they would own and take mine back no...

my 811 worked fine until it was stolen by dish in a upgrade to a inferior quality 211. now I wish I had it back for quality local broacasts.

I had a 811 about that time and it would do the same thing. at times it would reboot completely and sometimes it would start then suddenly go back to the channel I was watching. almost a 6 minute reboot, missed a lot at times.
