If you go to their locations page http://www.compusa.com/locations/ and if you do not see your store listed, then it is closing. I also read that if you call the store, they have a voicemail stating they are closing and having a closing sale.
Last time I ordered on the web, it was activated only on my primary receiver. When I called in, I was told that no matter how you order, PPV events are activated only on 1 receiver.
I became a supporting member a couple of weeks ago. I don't contribute much as I am new to this, but I get lot of information from this site!
Thanks to Scott and everyone who educates newbies like me!
I am sorry if this has been asked before. I did a search and could not find anything.
I currently have a 211. If I want to upgrade to a 622 what will I have to pay?
$199 as per the CSR. Will it change after July 1st?
Thanks
I have read several posts and looked at the manual for 622 and I think this is not possible, but thought I will ask:
I currently have a 211 and 311. I use the 311 to watch live programs - SD and HD.
I use the 311 exclusively to record SD using my home-built PVR.
I want to get a 622, but...
I have leased 3 211's. I had to wait for almost a month for dish to fix their order system as their system would not allow more than 2 211's per customer. Wonder why they don't let you do it. I was a new customer when I ordered that.
I upgraded to a Superdish to get internationals. It was installed yesterday. I had 2 500's before (one for 110/119 and the other for 129 HD). The installer installed the superdish to point to 110/119/121. One 500 was left as is pointing to 129. He left the other 500 and the DP34 for me to keep...
Is it possible to use a dish 500 to get both 121 and 129 (International and HD)?
I am a newbie learning a lot about DIY, so please help me with details about what exactly I need to do if this is possible. If not, I will have to go with 2 dish 500s.
Is it possible to control the new H20 receiver via the USB port? I have been searching for the last 2 days, but could not find anything. Some have used a USB-to-serial adapter with a null modem cable to control D10 box. Will this work for H20?
Thanks in advance.
