    Well today we here in Baltimore, MD got our additional HD channels,.... not bad. Glad to see Sci-fi and CNN in HD, and a whole lot more Premium Movie HD's. Wished Spike and Speed had been in the update. Maybe next round,... whenever that will be.

    This is the Baltimore, MD lineup becoming effective 9/30,... a few days away. Looks like the Gulf side of Florida is getting Way More HD channels than we are, especially when it comes to premium Movies. Hope Verizon has plans to catch us up...

    Frankly, I'm hoping that DirecTV isn't wasting any of it's energy on SD. My only interest in SD channels is when they are going to be offered in HD. Any gaps in programming at this point, I'm hoping is filled with HD programming. See no reason in the world to focus on providing NEW SD channels...

    I have both, the 700 & 100 and they are rather slow, especially when put up against E* HD DVR. I've also noticed both boxes go back before they go forward when asked to FF. The latest 700 upgrade (015C) didn't seem to have any impact on that.

    You should be President! You were right,... when I reset the remote to factory default, it switched itself back to IR mode. With the receiver still being in RF mode, they weren't talking to one another. Once I got them both talking the same language, it was a breeze. Thanks for the instructions...
