i have an old denon avr2000 receiver, works great and i love it ... until recently. randomly, the center channel just seems to turn off, as with the front left speaker. the venting is fine, as are the cables. if i turn off the receiver and turn it back on, it works fine again. it can do this...

i live right on the border of westminster & broomfield (right by westminster promenade). i can pull in fox, cbs, and abc OTA -- but no chance in hell of getting nbc. abc recently (i guess it was probably 9 months ago or so now) put a tower on the republic plaza downtown (skyscraper)... there...

Does anyone have this receiver? I'm 99% sure I'm going to buy one here in a few months, but figured I'd get a few first-hand opinions on the receiver from a website which I believe has strong credibility. Please don't tell me "denon is junk" or anything like that, becuase I'm already sold on...

why can they play 7 games in the morning in HD but then not all 4 in the afternoon?

that's about 1/2 mile from me, your antenna will work with everything except NBC if you have the same luck as me. But if you're able to get NBC -- let me know what kind of antenna you have as I'd love to get my sunday night football games in HD!:up

i live in westminster (mabye 12 miles north of the republic plaza). i have a $200 antenna (couldn't get any channels in with a $80 antenna so I had to upgrade) mounted perfectly and can get cbs, abc, and fox .... but no bueno on NBC, can't get it. also can't get a 5lnb dish as my apartment...

they said the at-9 is too heavy to mount the way i have my 3lnb mounted ...so they'd have to bolt it to the roof. no apartment complex i know of allows that, so looks like they'll lose a LOT of business by doing this ridiculous thing. i'm out in october when my contract is up. seriously...

the tech and service rep both told me you need the new dish to get the HD sunday ticket games

ok now i'm flat-out 100% angry. this dish is too heavy to mount the way we had it ... live in an apartment and the only way the tech says i can mount the dish is on the roof ... apartment complex does not allow that. ...so basically, unlike last year, now i can't get the NFL games in HD at all...

got the 2nd receiver free ... had to agree to a 2 year deal ... which is fine as noplace else has the NFL package ... but if I EVER have to upgrade equipment again to keep getting what I'm currently getting and they make me agree to a 2 year deal, I'm gone.
