Yeah the service isn't for everyone but my team is not in my market so I can see all of their games. I do some traveling so it is nice to be able to access games while out of town.

I found out that the PS3 app didn't pass certification with Sony. Looks like it will be longer before it is ready. Read that might be mid Nov. That might improve the quality little but I, like you, am ok with watching PC on the 50" in better than SD.

Well the same company that did MLB TV through the Playstation is doing the NHL. I got that and I was amazed at the image quality. You can always try it for 5 days and if you don't like it you can cancel it. The app for the PS3 should hit PSN tomorrow. Edited to Add: I routinely get about 6.5...

I used NHL Gamecenter Live last year and it was great. I chose it over CI because I could take my subscription anywhere and watch on my laptop. I know some don't want to view games on PC but this year the games can be sent from a PS3 to your TV. Just offering up an alternative.

I went through the bad pole install last year. I had to fight with E* to get them to redo the install for free. Looking back I would have saved a lot of time and aggravation if I bought a bag of cement and fixed it myself. Just my 2 cents.
