I'm going to join in on the screwed up 622 fest here. Over about the last week it is becoming nearly impossible is use. Similar issues to discussion here. LoS screen popups in middle of recordings. It's random, sometimes like 5 times a minute, others not for 30 minutes. It doesn't matter...

No threatening needed here... Just sent a nice e-mail off to CEO stating that I reviewed my options, this made the most sense, can you please change me. Had a response that day and am a happy TurboHD Gold customer.

I love Harmony, they are great technology. However, for me this is a great solution. My upstairs TV is an Olevia that doesn't work with the current Dish remotes and is also UHF to the receiver. Short of IR senders a Harmony will not work for me, so a learning Dish remote is great.

I'm not really sure why you would want them mapped down. The picture quality is so overcompressed poor it is almost hard to watch. I'd complain if my SD looked this bad, let alone my HD.

Since I live in a market that will never see HD locals beyond some ancient promises (Indianapolis), I am considering "moving" so that I can record more than one HD feed. If I do so, will I lose my guide data on my Indianapolis OTA locals?

My OTA reception has gone back to spotty and horrible again since 443 came out. Anyone else noticed this? Everything was working beautiful until 443. Now I am getting the 100 signal to 0 back to 100 thing again just like the old inbetween software versions. I hadn't noticed anyone...

I have my upstairs and downstairs HDTV's split via component out of my 622. I used a cheap little Radio Shack 4-2 switcher splitter for component. Works great. The only artifact I see is an occasional power phase issue. I am sure that if I intently scanned the screen I could see some issues...

If you are not worried about separate programming, there are items that extend a component signal. You could use that to feed two HD TVs without a seperate receiver. Just a thought.

From my experience, I had much better luck with Dish direct. I know it can happen either way, but my local retailer sent out a bum installer when I first signed up. He did a real lazy job to get done as quick as possible. The dish was poorly mounted and suffered from a lot of weather...
