I've had the HR20 since October and absolutely love it... I'm a TiVO owner since the original standalone TiVO and while the HR20 is an adjustment, it's still a great piece of equipment... I would go straight to retention and not bother with a regular CSR...

A lot of people believe that one of the big reasons that VHS beat out Beta was because the pr0n industry embraced VHS... I don't know how valid that is but google it and you'll see. As big as the pr0n industry is, does anyone really think that a "war" involving all of the big Hollywood...

This is more curiosity than anything. :) I have an antenna in the attic that picks up my OTA HD signals relatively well. I have one signal that is marginal. When my car is in the garage and the garage is shut, I usually get decent signal. If my car is not in the garage or the garage...

I stand corrected but that's wild. I'm obsessive about my channel lists and I've never seen that happen. I've owned the DSR6000, the DSR7000 and the HR10-250! Maybe it's a procedure thing. I generally go to my "channels I receive" list and delete all channels. Then I manually go in and add...

I'd take HD NCAA football over HD NBA anyday so it would have been an easy decision for me... :)

I must respectfully disagree... I've been using DirecTivos since the DSR6000 (almost 5 years). I've never had any of the channels that I've removed from "channels that I recieve" list come back. It has always worked flawlessly.

I'll buy when I hit 1000!! Or will I have MPEG4 by then and have to change out the dsr6000 and start over? :yes
