IIRC, the Sling Adapter was for the ViP722, maybe for the Hopper 2000 and was discontinued in 2019 because it used technology that was easily hacked (Adobe Flash) and was in the hardware - therefore not fixable. This Satellite Guys discussion in 2017 is still not clear whether the Sling Adapter...

Are both these services running on the same cables to the users. They should NOT be. Is your T-Mobile wired or wireless internet? How long has this been happening (just started, since Dish was Installed, since T-Mobile was installed, forever)? Were there recent changes made to either system...

I just installed H373 yesterday!

I tried to download H373 Sunday night but it just rebooted and came back to programming - twice. I tried again last night and after the second re-try it did download and install H373 and the signal protector is there now.

I just executed an interesting experiment. My H3 is connected to an old Panasonic 42 inch plasma 720p TV. Sunday I recorded channel 540-02 on my H3. About 5 minutes ago I tried to play that recording but the H3 said it could not play it , I pressed OK and ot popped back to live TV. SO... I tried...

Flipping the breaker, turning off the power strip and the like are all effectively the same as unplugging, assuming there is no UPS on the line (uninterruptible power supply).

Unplug your Hopper, wait 30 seconds, re plug the Hopper and let it restart. Might be a transient software glitch that rebooting fixes. That's always the first thing to do when Dish hardware goes wonky.

The only way to "power off" the Hopper is to unplug it.

I have seen in the past if your recording starts before Dish switches to the feed of the program on, it never switches. So, I have to start one minute+ late.

Possibly not just a red led, but a red led display that shows how many of your 32+ tuners are recording.
