did a quick search - on this forum and google - planning on moving over to Direct asap - and want to leverage the current promos. I have 3 TV's - 2 that are HD , one SD = 3 receivers needed. Also live in San Bernardino County , presume (since I get CBS HD on Dish) would qualify for HD locals...

I'm stuck - I have (2) 811's, a 510 and a 508 - so far I have just the AT150 (180?), the LA locals, and the HD - paying over $78 just for "basic". Family is pushing for a true movie channel; I could add a movie channel (besides receiving the add. HD channel that goes with it) for the X $$ or...

Thanx - I'll buy those - 34" - the HD and SD picture is sweet! - just as good as the Philips I saw at Good Guys yesterday.. Xbox and GC are still looking a bit streteched (even with Grand Turisimo 3 in 16x9) - me thinks the component cables will fix that.. I'll post some pics later...

I haven't purchased the Advanced HD pack for xbox yet, (I will this weekend) but I'm sure you can otherwise.. ALSO - the 811 included the DVI cable..

my HD in a box will be installed in a room addition, with 5.1 already in (denon/sonance) - and no, this will be my second 811 install within a month.. but your right - pointless threads get everybody going.. 8)
