Mine has 1.07. I haven't noticed any sound problems so far. I've only had it for two days.

Mine cutoff at about 47 minutes. I thought it might have been because of thunderstorms. There was no evidence of a pixelated picture before cutting out.

I'm running mine with a legacy quad. Your dealer is incorrect. The only other reason I can think of is if you plan to run more than two other receivers in addition to the 921. He might want to switch over to a Dishpro lndb to use Dishpro switches.

I'm not really sure what you mean. Echostar offered programming a la carte for the longest time. They even had a package where you could pick from certain channels but programming bundling from the provider eventually forced them to do away with it.

I fail to see how one can characterize this as unethical behavior. Dish sold you a subscription to the AT(whatever). It was always marketed as "prices and programming subject to change." The fact that Dish and Viacomm are in a programming/price dispute has no bearing on Dish's customer...
