Is anyone aware of any promos for current DirecTV HD customers to upgrade to a HD-DVR?

I would recommend a Terk HDTVa antenna. It is an indoor, amplified antenna and provides excellent channel reception.

I just bought a Terk HDTVa yesterday at BestBuy (indoor antenna). Excellent reception of all HD channels in the DFW area. It's as good as the outdoor Winegard antenna I've had the last 4 years.

Is there a special number for the retention department?

Thanks for the info. Do I need to get the BBC converter for programming received through the 3 LNB, or is that something I need only for the 5 LNB dish?

Will the 3 LNB dish continue to work even after Sep. 2007?

Can someone list which local channels are available in HD with the 5 LNB dish in the DFW area? Also, do you really lose the OTA channels with the 5 LNB hook-up?

Do the HD-10 receivers have an integrated diplexer? I want to combine OTA and satellite feed and I know I need an diplexor by the dish/antenna to combine the signals. Just need to know if I need a diplexer at the receiver as well or if it is already built-in.

I can't believe it either! What a shame Voom had to close down. Have you made the switch to Dish or Direct? Any thoughts on which one is better for HD content?
