How many receivers without a phone line connection?

Any receiver that is not hooked to a phone line will be subject to a $4.98 access fee whether you have a phone or not. They don't care.

    Switches, Cables and OTA

Yes if you have a quad you can use just one DP34. Hook the first 2 ports up to your DP34 switch and the other 2 up to your receivers for six total ports.

Hooking up into a satellite box on the outside of house?

If there is only one feed per wallplate, then that poses a problem with dual tuner receivers. The only option you have is to see if another cable run can be pulled to that location. If this is physically impossible, then the only other choice you have is to run a singal tuner receiver. If you're...

Hooking up into a satellite box on the outside of house?

I will have a lash at this one. What pre-wire means exactly is from every point where, in the future you want to place a tv or in this case a satellite receiver, there is what we call a home run of rg-6 coax going to a pre-determined termination point. This is more than likely the box you are...

How do in know if E* grounded everything.

You are basically looking for 1 and possibly 2 things. A ground block is usually used to ground the entire system and dish. Look for one of these inline with your coax somewhere and there should be at least an 8 gauge wire, usually green, attached to it and going to an electrical system...

510 deal and Standard Professional Installation

The answer to your question is yes. If you are upgrading to a 510 in addition to your other receivers, and more than 2 ports are needed, the installer shall install a quad free of charge.

    Mounting the SuperDish

The superdish is no heavier than a Starband dish. The SB dish actually weighs alot more. The mounts that came with these are universal wall/roof mounts and are heavy duty. I have done 52 SB installs, 10 of them were on roofs. If it is done right, it can be installed on roofs or walls and be very...

    Multi Switches

Easiest way is to use a DishPro Quad and 4 SW34 switches. I attached the pdf doc but you will have to right click on the download link and click on save target as... and it will download for you. Good luck

Can't Seem to Get 110 & 119. Is my LNB Bad?

THe above is great advice. In addition, make sure your dish skew and elevation are adjusted to what it says on the zipcode lookup. Sweep the dish very slowly and you should get something, unless your signal is being blocked by something.

Wildblue should be here in 2004!

Wildblue should be a go for sometime in 2004. For those of you who don't know what Wildblue is, it will be the first Ka band Internet Satellite return system. Should be reasonably priced too. It should blow Starband out of the water. We shall see. http://www.wildblue.com
