    VIP 211 green screen

mydish was showing EHD still authorized, but I did a chat with a tech and had them re-send the signal. Disconnected and reconnected the EHD and it recognized it. All good now.

    VIP 211 green screen

I found some older threads, but didn't know if it was better to bump an old one or start a new one. I have a leased VIP211 about 4.5 years old. Last week I got a solid green screen while watching a recorded program on the EHD. Unplugged, restarted, and was able to finish watching the...

    DISH COVERAGE OF OLYMPICS

Can't get the AT250 upgrade unless I drop my grandfathered annual billing, which would increase my cost by about $50/year. :(

    DISH COVERAGE OF OLYMPICS

I don't suppose there's any chance of a DIRT hookup for the NBCSports network for those of us in the AT200/Silver/whateverit'scalledthesedays package, similar to the NFL RedZone hookup over the winter?

EHD and SlingAdapter on same receiver?

Thanks! I'll give this a shot when I get home. Scott> No hub, just a (powered) EHD plugged into the front port.

EHD and SlingAdapter on same receiver?

Sorry if this has been asked - I did a search and didn't find "EHD" and "Sling" together. I just used an EHD to back up recordings on my old 722 and restore them to a new 722K. I'm pretty sure I didn't have the Sling Adapter connected during this process. Later, after having the SlingAdapter...

    Signal strength question

Turned out to be a bad receiver - just had my old 722 replaced last year, now the new(er) one died. Replaced with a 722K.

    Signal strength question

No loose connections unless it's inside the LNB (didn't take that apart). It used to be OK, so I don't think it's a low-frequency connector. Moisture is a possibility I guess. Although there are only a few cable-to-cable connections: o Dish feed to block outside house o Outside block to...

    Signal strength question

I'm getting a lot of pixelation and signal loss on some channels (esp. on the 129 satellite), and seem to have quite a low signal, but only on 1 receiver. On my 722, I'm getting a signal in the low 30s (on a scale up to 125). The 110 and 119 show a better signal, but still only in the upper...

Questions about the new XiP Receivers?

Ah, that would solve things nicely. Found a diagram that shows the devices that handles the backfeed from the 813 and sends it out to other devices.

Questions about the new XiP Receivers?

Ah, that would solve things nicely. Diagrams in the early part of this thread?

Questions about the new XiP Receivers?

True, but if I can't put the 813 where I'm already splitting the cable, then I need more cabling inside my walls than I have today. Say I locate the 813 in my living room, where the 722 is now. I use the (one) cable jack in that room to bring the feed in from the dish, and have no way to get...

Questions about the new XiP Receivers?

The more I think about it the more I think it may not be feasible for me. My coax feed comes into my garage attic, and splits to all of the different rooms from there. So unless this thing has an operating temp range from about 0F-120F, I'd have to do some tricky cabling to make things work.

Questions about the new XiP Receivers?

Can the internet be connected to either the 813 or the 110 client? The way my house is wired, I have a bridge near my TV (where the 110 would be), but not where my coax splits to all of the room outlets. Ideally, I'd like to have the 813 where the satellite feed comes in, and then feed the...

FOX Programming moved to a digital sub-channel. Will Dish carry?

I'm also in the WFFT area. From what I've read elsewhere, negotiations between WISE and Dish are continuing.
