Not sure about that. I've watched my hopper start a guide download at 3 in the afternoon several times, interrupting my program.

There is no USB adapter on my Hopper and never has been.

I'm certainly not going to replace it for a message that pops up once a day. I was just curious as to what it means. It clears with a button-push, or it will clear on its own after a few minutes.

Almost daily, I get an "Attention 395" notice that states that I unplugged a USB adapter. I've had this Hopper 3 for about 6 months and have never plugged in a USB adapter, much less removed one. Anyone know why this happens? Thanks!

You're probably right. But the fact that I pay Dish over 150 bucks a month for their service, I should get the best picture available. Shouldn't matter if I (or the masses) watch 5 minutes or 5 hours of a channel. If they say it's "HD", it should be HD. And it's not.

No, I watch those on a different input (meaning my eyes and tv are not that bad). But I do occasionally watch a game on Dish's 4k channel and it is nice and sharp. (btw...H3, Joey2.0, Sony XBR65X900F)

If that's the case, then why are my Amazon, Apple, and Netflix pictures pristine? (unless you meant that to be a funny)
