I got rid of my land line about 15 years ago. It simply doesn't make sense to have one since all that calls me on it was people trying to sell you crap or scam you. We just use our cell phones for everything.

I do remember the 722k had an external ota tuner that you could add to it to give you ota recording. It slid in the back of the receiver and you screwed it in. I guess they figured it was cheaper to do the USB tuner instead. Although I have to say I have had quite a lot of those tuners go...

I signed up for that last night because the wife wants to watch some show on it. Much cheaper then what they normally charge and good for a year.

But you know that Hopper 2 is what we all call it when we are referencing the sequence of hoppers from Hopper 1 to Hopper 3. I don't refer to it as the Hopper with Sling, unless you are looking back on all information about the model when it first came out. :smug

Sounds like copyright infringement issues here. The hopper 2 has been around longer then the space ship with the same name. :smug
