    should be under the protection plan, I have been able to fix the arm by using salf taping metal screws and drilling them through the the spots where the welds were.

    The 1.4 dish will allow snow to acumulate, the old d500 wont. I Know that there are several bibs for the dish which are designed to protect the dish from snow. Over the years I have seen 1 or 2 in use and they do work.

    Check signal from 119 tp 21 should be 75+(in my part of the states I look for 80+) if so could be the LNB, if not that high allignment is most likly the issue.
