I too am set up this way. The 811 HD is connected through DVI and I have a 522 connected through component cables (I think) :p I only use the HD receiver for the HD channels, honestly I don't think I've ever watched a SD program on it. I like it. It works for me.

Still nothing here either. It seems more people didn't get it than got it.

I've had mine for a little while and no problems here either. There were some problems at first with not recording and such but it seems to have gotten over that.

Same thing happening here. I had it set to record 2 hours of Stargate SG-1, it says it recorded the first hour but it only got about a second of nothing and then goes back to the list. It didn't record the second hour at all. And I saw the little red light on the front. Is this a software...

I just switched from Dtv and I also notice a quality difference, but only on certain channels. Some of the Dtv channels were cleaner then the Dish channels, but other Dish channels are cleaner than the Dtv channels. Overall I'm happy with the switch. I'm definately glad I did it.

I just switched as well and there are a couple of major differences between the two systems. But I'm able to do everything with the Dish system that I did with the Dtv system. I'm happy with it.
