Just wanted to update...they sent a different technician today. He had a completely different attitude. He wasn't leaving until we were all hooked. He was there a little over 5 hours..and I am finally back in the D* family.

When I called DirecTV to complain they looked up my account and the technician had entered in "on site", which was clearly a lie. Later they said they stopped by and nobody was home. That was another lie. So they actually stopped by today and wouldn't do the job. I am doing work in the house...

No but the MSG-HD logo has appeared in much of the advertising that D* has done. I'm in the advertising biz - they need to get sign off to use that logo or they are breaking the law. And believe me, Cablevision would sue them in a second if they didn't give them permission to use it. All that...

Scobuck - Can you confirm once and for all that MSG-HD is included in the "coming soon" category. I've seen so many posts that say Dolan will never let it go to satellite. But D* now includes the logo on their site and I really don't think they would do that unless they had an agreement in place...

Thanks monetnj - you did a better job of explaining than I did. I totally agree with your plan, I'm not budging until the HD DVR comes out. The HD Tivo has enabled me to watch so much more TV. I can't imagine not having it now. I hope the HD DVR is just as good.
