National channels are channels other than local networks. So yes, the ones you mention are national because the whole nation can recieve them. There are plans for other channels to go HD. Some are talked about and listed at the AVS site.

Ok, since I will have an extra 5x8 switch, could I plug the antenna into the ANT input, and run those cables out from switch to the stb's? That would cut out splitters and diplexors.

Someone said that the flex ports can't be used for OTA. So which part of the multiswitch can we use OTA? I have 3 active HD stb's and 3 non-active (love ebay) and might still need OTA capabilites if I de-activate an stb.

Even tho this is all just rumor, this is my concern. If it is for new customers, what will they do for existing customers. If D* gave me a comparable reduced monthly bill, equivalent to my HD stb's, then I would consider the 2 year agreement.

I'm a newlywed & have HD, so I got the best of both worlds :D It is good to see that D* knows that we do care about the PQ. I just hope once the Spaceway sat's go up they will also work on the SD channels PQ.
