    Thinking of switching from Dtv after 25 years

    I would call them and tell them you might be moving on to something else. I called after the NFL season to see if I was still under contract (which I wasn't) and they reduced my monthly bill 50%. No contract either. Still cannot beat Directv DVR, IMO.

    OK, thanks. I know one of them had people saying the "other" site. My 20-700 is so slow, I can't handle it much longer. I've had it since I come back to Directv several years ago. I appreciate all the help from the members of Satellite Guys!

    I was reading about an HR-200 on that "other" site. Someone stated the 100 was made by Audiovox (formerly RCA) and the 200 was made by Samsung. Has anyone had the chance to compare the two? I am about ready to buy a new HD DVR from Solid Signal or another vendor, but want the one that has...

    HR20 thru HR24 & R22 Software Release v.0454/0457/0458 2/8/11

    Same as Mark40511..........Connected to internet.......Have the latest software...........No youtube in Smart search I have the HR20-700. My TV Apps doesn't work either. It says "Tv apps still initializing, code 301".

    I am having a more serious problem. My screen never gets to the apps.......it always says "please wait, tv apps initializing". I've tried resetting. I also cannot get Youtube videos. I do the search, but I never got a Youtube video. BTW, I have HR20-700. I can get the Directv "on demand"...

    The last two days when I go to the Program Guide, it seems the HD channels are ok, but the SD channels (such as "E", Tru TV, BBC, etc.) show "To be announced". Is anyone else having this issue? Thanks!
