I am a Volunteer Coordinator working with several groups!
Through the Ionia County ISD I work with the IM Kids 3rd Meal program and the IM Kids Garden program, S.T.E.M. Camp (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math for 5th-6th Graders), Michigan Youth Leadership Camp (for High School Students) and the Youth Advisory Council.
I also volunteer with the Montcalm-Ionia Medical Reserve Corps, Montcalm County CERT, American Heart Association CPR Instructor, Red Cross Disaster Action Team and other volunteer groups working within emergency management.
With my teens and other minions, we have a Relay For Life Team called Volunteers for a Cure and get involved in many community events in Ionia County.
All this is why WION Radio considers me their Community Events Coordinator because if I don't know about, no one does!
