I get 250Mbps down in NY. There is a noticeable drop in quality once you move into 65" and higher. Like I said before, it still looks incredible on my 42" plasma. As more and more consumers buy into the large screen format, I have a feeling there will be some changes coming.

They have fallen behind as TV's got larger. They still look outrageously good on my 42" Panasonic Plasma from 2009. I've found many streams to be far better quality than what Directv is pumping out these days.

With the way most major ISPs are (I get 200Mb down) why aren't providers looking at offering 4K streaming instead? It would seem like an easier proposition to distribute. Amazon, Netflix all do it, and do it well.
