Thanks for the tips guys! I swapped out my boxes and still had the same problem. I had a handful of diseqc switches from over the years so I kept on trying them and one finally worked. Even when grounded those things are pretty crappy if u run more than 1 or 2 lnb through them...

I hooked 3 LNB into my simple 4x1 diseqc switch and everything was working until I hooked up 2 more LNB with 22khz. I put the 22khz switch between the diseqc and the LNB. This gives me 5 LNB through the 4x1 switch and all work but the picture randomly locks up now for upto 10 or 15...

It is a good idea Alaa but wouldnt it just be cheaper and easier to buy 4 QQbox? Then you can access all 4 birds simultaneously. At that point though, I would just recommend buying a tuner with proper diseqc drivers. Who is not dissapointed with QQbox, I sure am. But for $30 shipped it was a...

That driver doesnt support any switches unfortunately. In DVBdream it misses on 1/4 channel changes as well. I've given up hope for a driver to fix the problems, too bad because the hardware seems decent and it is so cheap.

Driver fix to add Diseqc functionality to the QQbox?

MC7 has a harsh learning curve to setup, but it is the best thing you are going to find. It is better than any solution you can buy, if you can get it working.

For DVB-S in MC7 you need to use software from DVBlogic. The one I use is called DVBlink for DVBdream. Basically, it streams (TS) everything from DVBdream into media center. So you keep DVBdream running at all times and MC7 controls it. It costs $30 but there is a 30 day trial. It is tricky...

With the latest drivers from DVBdream, the QQbox in Media Center 7 is cheap and awesome. Media Center blows away any STB like the sonicview, eg two week EPG, up to 8 tuners, auto sync shows/music/pics with bluetooth mobile devices, commercial autoskip, show/movie thumbnails in EPG, etc etc...

Since being forced back to DVBdream 1.4i because of the beta timeout bomb hidden inside 1.5, I have been able to get my twinhan card working by copying the DVBdream.exe and guids files overtop of my 1.5 installation. However, the QQbox still will not initialize :( If anyone knows how to fix...
