    Just curious

Thanks guys. That's what I do. Always align on the 101 then tune & dither on the 99 & 103. Yes, I do usually get in the high 90's & 100"s on the 101 and right now, I have at least the mid 90's or better on some for the 99 & 103. Was just curious what the letters (ca)(cb) meant......Thanks

    Just curious

Just curious. What do the letters mean for the 99 & 103 sats? Ie; 99 (ca)( cb) & 103 ( ca)(cb). What, if any significance do they mean when setting up & tuning in for sat. signal? Also, when I have SWiM switch installed, I get a (s) letter in addition. What does that mean? Thanks

    Difficulty finding sat. signal

That's what I've been doing......such a hassle! Was trying to eliminate the swap. Is there another meter that will work w/SWiM? How do all you techs. do SWiM installs? One of those expensive meters? Thanks again guys.

    Difficulty finding sat. signal

Hey guys, long time/returning customer. I now fulltime live in a RV so, we travel around a lot. I have a Slimline dish with a 3 lnb SWiM "head" , power inserter etc. I also have my original 5 lnb non-SWiM "head". The problem I'm having is, when I set up my dish with the non-SWiM, & use my...

    Guide Questions

I fulltime in an RV and used Slimeline dish with a 5LNB non-SWiM "head" with 4 individual leads (I only used 2) and everything worked fine. Today, I switched over to a 3 LNB SWiM "head" with power inserter and DC pass thru splitter. I changed both of my H21 receivers to the 3 LNB SWM setting and...

Directv LNB 5 Dish Alignment or Hardware problem?

Then am I referring to the "switch" inside the LNB?

Directv LNB 5 Dish Alignment or Hardware problem?

I also have a "non SWM" 5 lnb dish (4 leads) with BBC's installed. I have the opposite problem. I suddenly lost all of my 99 transponders & most of my 101 transponders except for 22-30? which remain in the 92 to 100 strength range. Strange thing is, my 103 (ca)(cb) transponders are also in the...
