    Fire TV Cube

I use a Logitech Harmony Ultimate remote and Hub with the Alexa Skill to control an LG OLED/WebOS TV, a Fire TV Stick 4k, a Shield Pro 2019, a Win HTPC, a Roku Stick 4k, and an LG BD player. Both Logitech and Amazon have instructions about how to pull all this off. Forgot, I can also access my...

Netflix Releases Latest ISP Streaming Rankings

Nice catch. Made no sense to me. I have AT&T fiber and although not a fan of the Death Star they deliver 1 gig up and down. And, they are hurricane proof, so far.

What will happen to Directv going forward

Too bad. It was an okay 23-year marriage. Then she started fooling around and I left. Still miss her, but YTTV is okay, much cheaper, and stays up with me through hurricanes.

    The YouTube TV Thread

I guess I might add it must wonderful for people with young children or light sleepers. People all snug in their beds and YTTV beating drums in the house. It might make a a really annoying ringtone too. Who dreams this stuff up and why would anyone find it appealing or useful?

I am on a Shield TV Pro 2019. Interesting choice of users to harass.

I really don't think I said that. Google is providing zero of the infrastructure the sat and cable providers provide and no installation costs. No boxes, no house wiring, no cable/fiber down the street, no cable/fiber to the house, no modems, no receivers, no power supplies, and no repair services.

Yes but the previous sources, cable and satellite, had infrastructure costs to deliver their products. YTTV is getting a free ride on the Internet connections we are paying for. They also aren't pulling any wire or providing any boxes.

    AT&T TV

What a mess. I was a DirecTV subscriber for 27 years. Thought I would never leave. Then AT&T ate it. Went to YouTube TV several months ago on a Shield TV Pro 2019 and was completely satisfied. Plus the shield handles any thing thrown at it including Vision and Atmos. NOW, YTTV has upped the...

Married to DirecTV for 23 years. Going back would be like going back to my ex. That ain't gonna happen. But, never say never. Ditto on the DirecTV interface. Exquisite. Running YTTV on a Shield Pro 2019 which brings all the pieces together nicely. Real OTA, OTT's, streamers, Plex, and a PC.

HBO Max - WarnerMedia Announces Upcoming Streaming Service

Winner, winner, chicken dinner! Uninstalling HBO Now was the ticket. Sideloaded via Amazon FireTV Utility to two Sticks and a Cube. Amazon FireTV Utility is banned and long in the tooth but my go to app to push things from my PC. Worked like a charm. THANKS for the tip. BTW, I used the HBO Max...

HBO Max - WarnerMedia Announces Upcoming Streaming Service

Weird thing I found was I cancelled HBO Now 5/15 so there were no conflicts when Max was released. Installed Max and got on with my AT&T fiber logon. It seemed to just morph Now into Max. Content was different but I had to manually edit the icon to Max on all three Android devices. As for Max on...
