    Reed Switch

Just had some time to install the new switch and at first it did not work. Tonight for some reason it works only in one direction and not the other. Too busy at work right now to play with it. Maybe there is more going on than the switch or its just the placement.

    Reed Switch

I measured the old switch and it looks like it should fit. When I install it I will post whether or not it works :)

    Reed Switch

I need a new reed switch and have read in a few threads that a Magnetic Door Switch will work. These are available on amazon Canada: My old switch is normally closed, has anyone tried using one of these security switches? I just have to measure my old switch to see if the new one will fit...

Well i bypassed all my switches and still no luck. Tried lifting up and pushing down on the dish to see if the wind had moved it on the mount and it made no difference. I no longer get a signal if i leave it for a while. Almost acts like moves on 101W. Thanks for letting me know there is a...

Any one having a problem locking onto tp 4160 V? If I wait long enough i get a signal that jumps around but when I try to scan if fails to get a signal fast enough. A few weeks ago I got it with 4160 V 29200 but i see lyngsat has it as 4160 V 30000. QVC comes in fine and the receiver is the...

Contest: Win Anything on the Titanium Satellite Website! - Ends December 29th, 2014

On Christmas Eve my sister and I were always allowed to open a gift before bed time. Over the years it always seemed to be a tradition to open my Grandmothers gift. Just the thing little kids needed before the last sleep before Christmas. Would be nice to have an A3 to test out over the...

    4" more actuator gets me....?

The "extra" 4 inches did allow access to 61W. I adjusted the hardware limit and now made it to 58W. Didn't manage to get France24 but I will open a new thread on that subject. Thanks for all the great info. I sure learned a lot in the last few days.

    4" more actuator gets me....?

Thanks FaT. I had a hard time finding tps active (on those sats) along the way to 58W. I'll try again tomorrow, my STB is busy watching create tv ....

    4" more actuator gets me....?

I adjusted the clamp on the actuator the other day but ran out of daylight to see what it made available. Today I carefully extended to the 17" hardware limit. I didn't get a signal on 58W (4040H26590 or 4120V27500). Just a few clicks before the limit i did get a signal on the following freq...

    4" more actuator gets me....?

Sorry I knew there was something I forgot to do. When almost retracted its pointed at 135W and when a few clicks from fully extended limit 83W. Great job with the picture FaT Air. It explains what I was trying to say so much better. Once back on 135W (after adjustment) a "shift" on the vbox...

    4" more actuator gets me....?

Well I measured the length when fully extended and its about 17" not including the last 1" or two where it attaches. I have included a few pictures of the mount. I think clamping further down on the actuator will work. Just have to see how much is lost on the bottom of the arc. Not much there...
