    So move on! You can buy a new one on EBAY if it's that important to you. I had to buy an 811 because as a former dish customer (left over a year ago)I did not qualify for the VOOMer special. It's their game, you got to play by their rules.

    Purchase price minus $5 per month... Isn't thant the fee per month we "rental" customers paid? I have to admit, fear of Voom's demise did play a part in my decision to rent, but I don't think those who purchased should be stuck with a overpriced paper weight.
