Was anyone else experiencing a slow guide scrolling issue with the H3?? I know the Joeys did not have the issue. I noticed that the H3 guide s scrolling much faster today. Was there an update lately or is this the way it should function normally??
Maybe it was just a coincidence but right around the same time my HWS took the S520 update, I had a hard drive failure.
Dish sent me a replacement and I swapped it out yesterday. All is good with the new unit after it took the S520 update.
Well I'll be..,,,,
Guess I'll just get the TV I want and think about either running a cable or swapping out for wireless joeys. We don't use that room enough to justify the extra monthly fee.
Thanks for the info!!
So in order to use the app it cost just as much as adding a Joey....hmmmm.
Doesn't make sense to buy a certain TV with the app if I have to pay the same. I would rather just get the Joey.
Are you sure it is $7 a month just to use the app??
Thanks, I read about the LG having the Joey app. Was hopeful maybe there were more options.
One more question, are there any extra fees/costs if I were to get a LG tv and use the virtual joey feature?
Just wondering something.....
We currently have an older crt television in our patio room that we are wanting to upgrade to a flat lcd. There is no cable run out there and we only use it with digital converter for locals and a DVD player for movies.
If we purchase a "smart" tv with built in...
Just noticed that the Order ID is showing up in the VOD info box now. Some movies have it and some don't. At least it's a start.
Guess we will be able to use those PPV certificates after all.
I was hopeful this update would insert the "order ID" code in the VOD info box. I guess the certificates we got for losing BB still are only good for ordering PPV. :(
If you haven't considered this already then I would suggest getting at least one Hopper with Sling + Hopper and 2 joeys. The Sling feature is very nice to have and you may be able to swing it at no extra cost.
Yeah that's what I did first. I was looking for the promo deal and couldn't find any for the sports pack in my offers or when adding it to my programming. That's why I contacted DIRT and was able to get the promo pricing.
