I believe local blackout rules still apply. The only way you can see part of the game is on the red zone channel. If I am wrong someone else can correct me.

Chicago was fine even though we had snow and wind

I would love the Season pass for one or two teams. But since thats not available, ST and SF it is. I do like the Red Zone channel but does anybody else find it a little confusing near the end of games where they are switching constantaly and you sometimes lose track which game they are talking...

I just changed to a HD DVR last month; did not have to change my package; and just had to pay a 19.95 processing fee and the 4.99 monthly DVR Service fee.

My channels fade some times too. Channel 2 was bad last night with the wet snow

Alot of it depends how wet the snow is. The drier the snow the less fade I have.

I live in the Chicago area too and have not had these problems. While I ocassionaly have picture breakup, audio problems, etc. they are not 5 to 15 times an hour. And I never have the switching between channel problems. I would call DTV.

In order to watch the games you would need to purchase the MLB, NHL, and NBA packages. You can get the channels on the sports pack and watch the pre game, etc but not the games themselves

I'm having the same issue like Brian reported. Looks like it's time to call DirecTV

They are blacked out because NFL Network has the national rights

Does anyone know if you need the HD Extra pack to watch the olympic coverage on Universal HD channel 756?
