For the record: HBO NOW is a stand-alone HBO subscription app.. HBO GO is an app for those that subscribe to HBO through cable or satellite. Both have identical content.

Discovery is a fine sci-fi show. It's just not Star Trek (and neither is the Abrams universe). Call it something else. Seth McFarlain was able to do that. Why not these guys.

Because of the FCC OTA repack, two Dayton channels (26 and 43) went off the air. Virtual channels 26 (CW) and 43 (ION) are now sub-channels of RF channel 50 along with virtual channel 2 (NBC). All three channels show the NBC program listings on Dish's guide info.

Hmmm.... what are thunderheads made out of? I have 21 years experience with DBS satellites and signal loss issues. LOL. The thickness of the clouds (amount of water between you and the satellite), not the rain itself that kills the signal.

A reminder that rain fade is a misnomer. It's really CLOUD fade. This is the time of year when we get big thunderheads and isolated storms. This is the time of year the sun could be shining on your house, but a giant thunderhead is between you and the satellite. If that happens you could...
