I doubt this is true. If there was a settlement Monday I would think they would be back on before the next Sunday 10/28 for the next TWD. I guess it could be true but I wouldn't think it would take 2 weeks to get AMC back.

The TWD should make AMC a lot of money then. TWD is the most watched cable series ever with a higher rating for current series even including network shows(ABC, NBC etc) for the 18-49 age group which is most important for advertisers. I'm not sure but I would guess if you look at the original...

I don't know why some people are bring up these rating. It doesn't matter at least to me what the total rating for a channel is over the whole day or specific time. I only watch a few shows total and the only channels out of all that Dish carry that I watch more then one show is Showtime(2)...

It has my favorite series plus a couple more that I like. It is my favorite channel but I only like 2-3 other channels. I'm just hoping they do settle. I have been waiting to switch to Dish from Directv because of the Pac 12 Network but not without AMC and TWD.

I hope that doesn't mean the Dish AMC possible settlement isn't going forward or being discussed between them.

Like I posted I'm not a law expert just my gut feeling. I was thinking the judge would need a little time to prepare for what his summary judgment is and will rule later this week. He could also be giving AMC Dish time to arrive at a settlement before his ruling. You are probably right though.

I don't have any inside info and no law experience and I could be way off base but IMHO I think the judge is going to do a summary judgement later this week. I'm not even sure that is possible now but if it is I think the judge has seen enough and wants to rule in AMC's favor.
