Thinking about upgrading to the Hopper with Sling built in. Not really interested in the Primetime Recording. If that is not running, how many programs can be recorded at a time? With the 722 I have it can do two. Also, If I am watching Sling, does that cut one recording slot out? Thanks!

Would be nice if the epix channels had a little more variety. With 3 channels they should be able to cut down on repetition.

Recently took advantage of the upgrade to Gold promotion. Was looking at the HD for that package and the Dish Website seems to say that The Movie Channel (on channel 329 and 330) are in HD. On my guide they just show up in SD. Could someone confirm if they get those channels in HD? Thanks!

Dish has promised not to raise rates until 2013. Any rate increase for ESPN would have to wait until then. Right?

Was interested in the Sling Adapter. Have a new 13inch MacBook Pro 2.3GHz Intel Core i5. The compatibility test fails. Says I need at least 2.8GHz Core 2 Duo chip. The 2.3GHz i5 is no slouch. One of the pictures has the "HD Duo DVR " as a requirement. It sounds like the VIP 612 would be out. I am thinking of switching over and with one TV looks like I could only get the VIP 612 (Not planning on paying the extra for the 922). Anybody with some clarity on this?
