hi everyone. i got a flyer in the mail for an offer to upgrade to the AT180 with i believe a $15 refund or a $20 refund if you upgrade online but my wife threw the flyer away. there was a dishnetwork url to take you to the page for the offer. i cant seem to find it on the website. does anyone...

i have the same problem. held down the power button on the reciever for 10 seconds & worked for a day then started up again. as long as my picture is fine, i'll just ignore it.

i think the best music video station dish has is IMF. only commercials they have are 1 PSA every 3-4 videos & maybe a station promo. i don't understand why mtv & mtv2 have 15% music videos & 85% useless stuff . however, i like jackass, viva la bam & team sanchez. i wish they would just have 1...

i hope someone steps in. 2 of my channels are supposed to be going off , but one of them is the wb, so i don't care. fox is kind of a loss though. i don't think any station should be allowed to act like sinclair is. i'm lucky enough to pull the, through ota. i know alot of you are not unfortunately.

with brand new customers, they get 6 free months of the hd pak. existing customers who upgraded within the last few months, get half off the hd pak for 12 months.

if you are going to have a rooftop antenna, unless you want to have 2 holes drilled in the wall, you'll need 1 pair of diplexors. 1 to combine the cables & aother to split them in two again once it comes through the wall.

i have an rca amplified indoor antenna which is about 5 years old that picked up 8 locals for me. the only bad thing is i have to stick it into the bathroom window to get signal.

lol, i hope so too but either way, as long as they let me have it, i'm willing to fork out the extra scratch for some more hd (or upconverted ). anything to impress my friends . ;)

the 2nd dish installation includes any additional switches so you will probably get bumped to a dpp 44. more than likely with the bandwith, any more additional hd channels could be added on the 61.5 anyway. plus you get those really compelling public interest channels. :p

from what was understood, the former voom customers must have the hd pak in order to get the additional channels. i assume its going to be the same for exixting customers if they are allowed to have it.

i, uh, know an employee that works for the dishnetwork call center. :D when the news came about, it sounded like it was supposed to be included with the hd pak at no additional charge. that was basically what was in the press release. then it was told that only voomies would have access to this...

the first dish employees heard of this, they told them that it would only be available to voom customers switching over. then a little while later, it sounds like it would be available to anyone with an hdtv reciever & 61.5. knowing dish, this will probably change...
